For me, this week has been a continued effort of holding joy and grief-fury together. My sister lives in LA (she’s safe) so that has been hard on a very personal level, and also it’s all personal. Even if I didn’t have immediate ties, it’s completely devastating. I’m angry, frightened, and heartbroken for the people, animals, and ecosystems that have been so violently uprooted and harmed (and continue to be). Like witnessing the ongoing response to Helene from afar, I’m also moved watching people show up for each other and am taking notes and doing what I can from here.
Alongside all of that, I’m feeling tremendously grateful and energized this week, watching people get excited about Finding Fulfillment. It has been so special to make and share something about making and sharing things and witness so many of you respond with, “yes, that is something I want in my life.” It’s an honor and a joy to have shepherded this thing that wanted to be here into the world, and be so well-received and needed. It’s been especially wonderful to do that with Kira. We’ve been blown away by the response. Thank you.
In that joy-fury-grief spirit, Kira and I would like to share some of this abundance. We’re going to be donating 25% of the benefits from all sales of Finding Fulfillment over the next 48 hours to displaced LA families who need help rebuilding.
If you would like to donate directly, here is the list we’ll be using.
The Sale Ends Tonight!
The Finding Fulfillment workshop and the guidebook sale ends tonight, Sunday January 12 at midnight PST. You can buy the workshop, the guidebook, or both after today, but you get those savings if you go for it now (and participate in our fundraiser).
Kira and I both did AMAs on Instagram about Finding Fulfillment, and one thing that came up is “what’s the difference between the guidebook and the workshop?” Lots of people bought one, loved it, and were debating getting the other, and wanted to know more. So below, I’ll go over the differences and similarities so you can make choices that make sense for you!
But first, I have a little something to share.
Reading Time
I remembered that Substack has an audio option and I thought of the idea of reading the first two pages of the guidebook to you as a little peek into this project.
I hope you like it.
Deciding Between The Workshop, The Guidebook, Or Both
We intended the workshop and the guidebook to be companions to each other, so they work best as a unit. However, we wanted you to have the option to just get one to make it more accessible and also — we know people learn different better in different formats. If you’re not going to get both, or if you want to start with one and see where that takes you and reassess, here’s how I’d decide between them.
TL;DR: the workshop goes into more depth on the how and why of the 5th and the 11th houses (with examples and delineations by planetary ruler), sharing how we approach these places so you can do it yourself — whereas the guidebook mostly does the work for you.
Also, a note about pricing: Kira is based in France and we’re using her website for purchases so the prices are in euros. Currently, the euros to dollars exchange is just a few cents, in case that was a question you had!
The Guidebook (€35.00 €30.00)
The guidebook is almost 100 pages long and more than half of it is our “5th and 11th Houses by Rising Sign” section. So if you want to skip right to the “but what does this mean for me?” part, we’ve got you. And we’re not talking a paragraph. Each rising sign has multiple pages devoted to it.
The guidebook will be a good reference document and it gives you enough of a foundation to follow along with the example charts (including the two we cover in the workshop, plus two new ones!) and rising sign by rising sign interpretations.
But it’s in the workshop that we really have the space to go deep on how these houses got their meanings, what we think of them based on our own practice and personal gnosis, and what their relationship is to each other.
The Workshop (€70.00 €60.00)
The workshop is way more in-depth when it comes to understanding the 5th and the 11th, and all the building blocks that help you interpret these houses for yourself.
So much of what got Kira and I excited about this project is how rich and interwoven these two houses are, despite their sort of scant keywords, and we have so much more time and space to go into that in the workshop.
Even though between the workshop and the guidebook, we cover a lot of ground, nothing is going to tell you exactly how to interpret your chart. There are too many nuances! So we wanted to empower you to do it yourself.
(And if you still have questions, come see us for a reading if you’d like!)
We mention the spirits who lend their names to these two houses (Agathe Tyche/Tuche and Agathos Daimon) in passing in the guidebook, but we get to talk about them more in the workshop. If we could have made the workshop 4 hours long without that being so ridiculous, Kira and I would have wanted to spend even more time on Agathe Tyche and Agathos Daimon because they are so important.
Overall, I would say the workshop is more technical than the guidebook (we do more of the work for you in the guidebook) but we do break the techniques down for you so it should be fairly accessible for someone with knowledge of the planets, the houses, and if you know aspects are a thing but maybe don’t remember what they mean.
We also talk about the planetary joys, which in simple terms is a concept that each traditional planet has a house that they love best and the planet’s significations help explain what that house is about.
There are three things we do that I really love in the workshop that we do not do in the guidebook.
We talk way more about how these “happy houses” look when they are “unhappy”
We share two stories that we think are very 5th/11th House coded, which we hope gives all the technique some soul
You have a planet who is responsible for your 5th House and a planet who is responsible for your 11th House. It’s not just about understanding them separately but together. How do these two planets collaborate? How do they tussle? We go through every 5th/11th House rulership pair and talk about what gifts they offer and what challenges they bring.
For folks who are thinking you really want the content of the workshop, but video isn’t for you for whatever reason, the video comes with a transcript too.
Other Questions
A lot of the questions Kira and I got in our AMAs this week had to do with whether we cover specific topic areas like “what if my IC/MC are in my 5th/11th?” “what if my 5th and/or 11th House is empty?” “what if I have a stellium?” “what if my nodes are there?” “what if I have a planet in there that’s a malefic or not dignified?” Not only do we cover these questions in a general way in both the workshop and the guidebook because they are so common, but we also chose example charts that would address them all. We have you covered!
Write me back directly or in the comments if you’ve got questions. They are welcome. You’re also invited to share reflections if you’ve already got your hands on Finding Fulfillment. We’d love to hear how it’s been for you!

Love the audio! Thanks for sharing. I bought the workshop the other day and will follow-up with the guidebook soon. Can't wait to see what new layers get added to my incredible 5th house reading and how lustful I become for an 11th house reading.
